I Have a Passion for Excellence and Teams
I have a career long passion for teams to grow and attain results for operational and financial performance. I have been asked to bring change to organizations from various roles. As a CEO, I took over a struggling business with offshore competition and and led it to significant growth through refocusing the team on providing innovative solutions to customer design and support needs. As a VP of Operations, I developed a team to focus on improvements in throughput and cost reduction during a time when business doubled. As a board member, I helped coach a new international business to become established and profitable.
Starting with a solid foundation as a process improvement engineer, my career development has allowed me to build expertise in business growth and strategic planning, customer relations and sales, organizational and team development, and a solid command of financial management tools. I have worked with a broad range of businesses, from local family owned, to major recognized organizations like General Motors and General Electric. I have worked with different cultures in an international environment and led business efforts in markets that supplied OEM’s, direct market selling of consumer products and to major US retailers.
